Q: I'm thinking about renting a Villa on the East End near Brown Bay. Is that too remote if I want to go to other areas of the Island during the day? Answer

A: Have been to St. John many times. Shopping and dining are in Cruz Bay area. Beaches you will want to visit are all north shore. Speed limit is 20 mph, and it is hard to go faster. It will take you 25 minutes from east end to Cruz Bay. You won't want to drive this at night.
