"Aqua Marine Dive" is the on site dive shop at Blue Waters Inn, Speyside. It includes a full service jetty on site. Aqua Marine offers a full PADI dive school which will train you from an Amateur up to Master Diver, and beyond. We have three fully equipped dive boats which will whisk you to the dive sites, some as close as 5 minutes from the dock while the furthest is no more than 20 minutes away. Speyside has a variety of dive sites from amateur beach dives, to advanced current dives. Highlights include one of the largest Brain Corals in the world, schools of large Tarpon, black tip sharks, and lots of spiny Caribbean lobster. It's a secluded beach--relatively untouched and found at the bottom of a cliffside trail. It's located on the western tip of the island, near Buccoo. Best to go with a group.

Then do a drift snorkel over one of the largest brain corals in the Caribbean. Many different types of beautiful fish can be seen along with a good chance of spotting turtles, lobster, eels, etc. After this it’s off to Little Tobago for a walk on the main hiking trail on the island. The island is nature reserve and is home to the many different types Marine birds especially during the winter months of December to April. David Attenborough made this island famous in one of his documentaries as it is a perfect venue to observe the habits of Tropic and Frigate Birds. (close)

Rainforest Tours are a must if you are here in Tobago to see the nature of the island. Tobago boasts the oldest rainforest reserve in the Western Hemisphere and was founded in the 17th century. In fact Trinidad and Tobago has more birds per square mile than any other place on the planet. Your first stop would be to the main trail of the reserve called Gilpin trace. Here you will see many of the main bird species of Tobago like the Colared Trogans, or Saber-wing humming birds. You may even be lucky enough to see the amazing dance of mating Blue Backed Manequins. It has to be seen to be believed. Depending on time and what you want to see you may also visit a near by marshland and see some more different birds and scenery.
