We do a girls trip to Cancun and stay at the Riu Cancun every fall. We love Riu Resorts.
This was the first year we ventured to Jamaica.
The entire trip was amazing. The hotel accommodations were great. The employees went out of their way to be polite and friendly. The food was really good. We may never go back to Cancun. I recommend Riu Ocho Rios very highly. |

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful and serene property for our family reunion. We felt very safe and very pampered too! All the amenities on-site and nearby made everything seem effortless, especially the wonderful staff who accommodated all our requests. |

Direct ocean front rooms. Small resort. Not many if any kids there. Great location. Cleanest hotel on the hip strip. Great value imo. |

Love the pillar houses. Stayed in April and Nov 08. Place was renovated over the winter of 08. Now has spa, larger balconies on pillar houses and windows (not louvers). Can't beat the value here imo. |

for me. I know others rave about this place. I didn't care for it. Looked more like moonscaping than landscaping. Also you need a pool imo on the cliffs espec in the fall. Pool..soon come? Not even close to being finished. |

This was a beautiful property, with great beaches, a wonderful pool, a restaurant with a great view, and a chef that treats you like family.
The rooms are modern, and the views are tremendous. Also, the housekeepers are real gems. Here, you'll find great people and ownership. |

AFIMI is the only choice for villa rentals in MoBay. Visited: August 2008 |

Our family had the pleasure of staying at AFIMI Villa in MoBay, and we were so happy that we will return next year.
It was centrally located, close to the famous Doctor's Cave Beach, Negril, and other area attractions we visited. We loved the fact that that it was in a secure area, had a beautiful infinity pool that we lounged in daily, and a small beach front. Also, the villa itself was breathtaking.
Our cook made the best Jamaican food we had ever tasted. We wanted to bring her back to Canada with us!
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will recommend this to all our friends and return next year for another vacation! |

My family stayed here. This was our first time to Jamaica, and to an all inclusive resort. We had a great time, and met some really nice people - including the staff.
Beaches Negril was nice to visit, but it was very busy (in my opinion). The food was great at both resorts, and there was little - if any - waiting.
If you're into watersports, this is the place for you. This was my first time scuba diving, and I had a blast. We went on the banana boat and kneeboarding, and they had top notch gear to use. This expense at another resort alone made up for what we spent for a day here.
The beach was so soft and uncrowded, and the sunsets were spectacular. The rooms were average, but the experience was great. We would definitely recommend it for some great R&R.
My family is going back in October 2008, and we can hardly wait.

It was a beautiful hotel, but there were some negatives. Visited: September 2008 |

The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very professional and helpful. However, the beds were not comfortable at all - even after several attempts to improve it.
Also, there were very little (or not at all) pool/beach/indoor game activities or entertainment. These areas need improvement. |

There just aren't enough words to describe how much we enjoyed staying at Hotel Four Seasons! Where to start?
Martin, the manager, was friendly and personable, and gave excellent recommendations for everything you'd want to do in the Kingston area.
Hotel Four Seasons was a little slice of heaven in the city of Kingston. |

We stayed here, and had a superb stay.
The grounds were well kept, the oceanic view was impeccable, the rooms were immaculate, and the staff was very friendly.
We are definitely spending another vacation here in a few months. Hats off to the management! |

I travel a lot, but have made Brezes my destination more than all others combined. I have come here 17 times.
We got married here in 2001. The property went through a major renovation and re-opened in 2007. I found the changes to be wonderful. It was more than a face lift. They added new rooms, suites, and restaurants, and freshened up everything else.
The key success factor for this resort is the staff. You will not find friendlier or more helpful staff anywhere.
I am an avid SCUBA diver. This makes Breezes an exceptional value because SCUBA is included in the price of your stay.
I can't say enough good things about this property. That is why I am returning in two weeks! |

I just got back from Jamaica, and I had a great time. The weather was hot every day - even when it was cloudy. The average was 28 degrees C.
The bedrooms looked nothing like the pictures on the site I visited, and they were really spacious. It was an excellent hotel. |

It was not good! |

My family and I - while in Jamaica - did go to Dunnes River Falls. The only good thing about it was the boat trip there and back! When we got there, it was full of tourists. Also, it was confusing as to what group you came with, as there were so many people. The falls were very high and hard to climb, so you need climbing shoes (which you can rent!).
The water current was very strong, and I wouldn't suggest going if you are faint hearted, pregnant or can't swim. My husband and I are both strong swimmers, and when climbing the falls, we did fall over a number of times and cut our legs. The current was so strong, it pulls you under if you fall in, so you have to be careful!
There was no rope to hold onto - just the your fellow mates, and family's hands. The spiders tangled on the branches of the trees were massive! At the end of it, you can purchase a DVD, which we did. However, we were dissatisfied, as it didn't show much of us climbing the falls.
I thought it was a waste of money - but something to add to your list to say you have done. |

Riu Ocho Rios , Ocho Rios Area traveler review
We had an unsatisfactory holiday. Visited: July 2008 |

My family and I stayed at Club Ocho Rios for two weeks. The transfer time from the airport to the hotel was about an hour and forty five minutes. The bus had no air conditioning.
Check in took too long. My daughter, who was 19, was given a red band (which is used to notify the bartenders not to serve alcohol to children). My husband had to go through all our bags to find my daughter's passport to prove her age.
The employees on the main desk were very rude! I had to buy calling cards from there, and they were $20 each - ten pound sterling - and they tried to rip me off on a numerous of times (even though the manager told his employees that the money I was giving them was correct!).
The room itself was lovely. The design and decor was good, but it smelled very moldy. The beds weren't that comfy, either. The housekeeping staff did a good job when they wanted to, but came in at innapropriate times.
The breakfast was great, American style! We found the burgers tasted like processed meat, though, which you wouldn't expect from a six star hotel. Also, dinner time got boring with the same food. The line to make reservations for the restaurants was long, and the Chinese restaurant was disgusting.
Entertainment at night was the same. The Michael Jackson show was the only good one. The sports bar was very cheesy - and same with the disco.
The kids club was no good! They didn't watch the children in the pool! It was very dangerous.
At the end of it, we had a big bill to pay for the connection of the phone. £127.98p - even though we had calling cards!
