Saba Wind provided glorious views - none of the pics on any of the web sites we found did this place justice.
They had great breezes, excellent maid service, and the furniture appeared new. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything worked.
The only reason for one less than five stars was the noise from the resort. They usually shut it down by 10 pm, though. It really wasn't a problem, as long as you get in the mood ahead of time and enjoy their music rather than your own.
We'll be going back - we hope! |

It was a very nice villa with plenty of space, a good view, and a fun atmosphere. Visited: July 2006 |

We had a party of six -- two grandparents, two parents, and two teenagers. We could gather all six together in several places, inside or out. Each individual had no problem getting her own space when that was desired. Everything worked.
The sliding glass doors needed a little maintenance, but that was all we noticied. The staff was good and attentive. The villa location on a hill provided dramatic views of nearly all of the North Sound - and of the resort and beach directly below.
Also, maid service was unobtrusive, but excellent. The villa pool was used extensively.
Many of the island's attractions were on the south end of the island, while the villa was in the northern part. This resulted in numerous rental car trips up and down the "main highway". The road was somewhat challenging, and one must drive on the left, which added to the challenge.
In summary, we had fun! |

It was a wonderful place to stay. It was within walking distance to Leverick Bay, which had laundry facilities, shops, pantry and water sports. But it was far enough away to have privacy and not feel crowded.
The view from the house was spectacular. Ferry services picked us up at Leverick Bay and took us anywhere. Taxis and drivers were easy to get and very accommodating. It was well worth it! |
