This was a beautiful house on a gorgeous beach. We were alone on the beach most of the time.
My husband spent his afternoons fishing, and the kids swam and played on the kayaks. We walked to Pompey Rock and Sammy T's every night for dinner. The walks home by starlight were the best part! It's a perfect vacation spot!

A Grand Bahama Island travel review
It was a terrible hotel.

I stayed here for a week in June 2008 .
The room was not ready, and was filthy (with old cotton buds on floor). Most of the staff seemed lazy and ignorant (although some were friendly).
Also, the food was of very poor quality and repetitive. The manager walked around seemingly oblivious to how poorly run the hotel is.
In addition, the bar staff was too busy either chatting amongst themselves or chatting up female guests to provide proper service.
The location was excellent. It is a pity the same cannot be said about the hotel.

A Paradise Island travel review
It was a wonderful experience!

The resort was amazing. Sure, some people have said the staff was rude and concieted. However, you would be too if you had to work and couldn't have fun at one of the best places in the world.
I thought the food was spectacular. I have been here four times, and have not gotten food poisoning. I think the facilities were very nice, too!
The resort is family friendly with slides, a lazy river, and more. They have nice shopping facilities, and the casino is beautiful.
